1973 Volkswagen Thing was a Florida vehicle, Now in New York
Porsche pancake motor, runs, moves & stops; decent body & paint;
restoration started and needs to be finished. Floor, fuel tank,
convertible top &frame have been replaced; Has extra original
VW motor &;Hardtop. Needs glass replaced, windows foggy, engine
works, but the seller wouldn't suggest driving long distance, may
need a tune-up, car start, and runs, go forward/backward, the
brakes and transmission function. He is sure the car leaks. The
seller has two engines. Both will need to be rebuilt.The Thing will
come with a hardtop, brand new seats. New floors, new fuel tank,
minimum rust on it, but no rot or holes. The body is solid, painted
4 years, and has a few scratches as it has been sitting around.
