Maxmotive is excited to offer this 1950's Willys Jeep M-38. This
Willys was issued for the Korean war, but never saw service. The
Willys Jeep was powered by a L-Head 134 4 cylinder engine paired to
a 3 speed manual transmission. The transfer case is a Dana 18
transfer case. There are also some other build factors
distinguishing a Willys Jeep commissioned for Korea, versus a
standard Jeep. The Willys commissioned for Korea did not have side
steps for better ground clearance. They also ran a waterproof 24
Volt system, consisting of two standard 12 volt batteries, along
with a heater under the passenger seat. The Willys Jeeps issued for
Korea also had protruding front headlights with guard wires. This
Willys owner is also including some cool war era memorabilia to go
with the Willys. This includes a replica 30 caliber machine gun,
military helmet, tool kit, bucket, and telephone. The machine gun
mount is authentic, and there is a vintage M-1 carbine included.
Soft top as shown.... The Willys does have a hole under the
passenger seat. The horn and fuel gauge are not functional. The
emergency brake is not functional, but the owner is including most
of the physical hard parts to assist when the new owner decides to
fix the emergency brake. Incredible opportunity to own a real,
steel piece of American history. For more pictures and info, please
