INTRODUCTION: Very meticulous frame off build with many handmade
details! Don't let the subtle beige fool you, there's a dual quad
stroker under the hood, and a built 4-speed with overdrive, a posi
and custom chassis under the car. It is beautifully detailed
throughout!
EXTERIOR: California car with a super clean body. A metal cowl hood
was added, the laser straight panels fit square and flush. The
beige paint is polished smooth and glossy. The bumpers were color
matched. Decal stripes were added to give it some pop! The rest of
the chrome and trim has been replaced or restored. The windshield
was replaced and the windows were tinted. The weatherstrips were
replaced. There is a third brake light custom built into the rear
molding and a back up camera mounted above the license plate. so
backup camera. It's rolling on Coy's five spoke aluminum wheels
wrapped in G-Force tires, 17s in front and 18s in back that are
much wider.
INTERIOR: It has been completely redone and has several custom
touches. Upgraded with a Ron Francis wiring system. On the floor it
has plush carpets with Lloyd's embroidered mats. The center console
is home to the stereo, headlight switch, vents, air ride controls
and a four-speed shifter with a custom drilled handle. The lower
dash is upholstered and has dash pad on top. The instrument panel
is custom with a beautiful set of Dakota Digital gauges. It has a
nice cushion grip steering wheel and the turn signal lever was
custom fitted with a button that controls the overdrive. The air
ride gauge is below the dash and seat belts were installed. The
door panels are reproduction with custom-made billet trim, handles
and armrest bases. The headliner and visors were replaced.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It was meticulously designed, assembled and
detailed. The heartbeat comes from a 385 that's been built,
balanced and stroked. It has aluminum heads, dual quad intake with
fuel injection, MSD ignition and coated headers. Beautifully
finished tall aluminum valve covers, the front of the motor has
polished brackets, alternator and pulleys with a serpentine belt.
There are brushed aluminum inserts on the firewall and above the
radiator. It runs cool with an electric water pump, a big aluminum
radiator and overflow bottle with three electric fans. I am really
impressed with the hard pipe hoses with custom fittings. The power
brake booster is chrome and the master cylinder is polished. There
is so much detail and handmade custom items in this engine
compartment.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Even the trunk is filled with little details!
Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted smooth like the car.
It has custom upholstered inserts on the bottom of the trunk lid
and billet stainless hardware. Inside it's completely boxed and
upholstered. It has a side compartment that opens and built in
lights that turn on with a switch. There's a battery box, the
compressor and components for the air ride. The floor is carpeted
and there's a special made cradle with hammered silver paint that
holds the polished fuel cell. A chrome fire extinguisher, car cover
and a bra is included.
UNDERSIDE: It was treated to a very detailed body off frame
restoration! The frame was boxed, it has been smoothed out and
painted hammered silver and has bow tie shaped access holes. Up
front is upgraded with tubular control arms, coilover adjustable
air bags, upgraded sway bar with billet brackets. The steering was
all rebuilt, it has a 525 steering box. In back it has upgraded
billet lower control arms, adjustable upper control arms, a
swaybar, adjustable gas shocks and air bags. Stainless fuel and
brake lines, and stainless e-brake cables were installed. The
stainless Magnaflow exhaust system has an X-Pipe, machine turned
pipes and polished turn down tips. The brakes were upgraded with
polished calipers, drilled and slotted disc at all four wheels.
Looking up at the motor the oil pan is painted silver like the
frame and there is a high torque starter. A Lakewood scatter shield
houses a Centerforce clutch. The Muncie M21 is a reproduction Auto
Gear Supercase, and there's a Gear Vendors overdrive and a Hurst
Competition Plus linkage. Complete rebuild of the 12 bolt rear end
was done by Pro Differentials and it has an aluminum girdle cover.
The rust free floors are pristine. They were given two coats of bed
liner, two coats of primer, two coats of beige and then two coats
of clear coat!! There's a battery disconnect and remote jumper
terminals under the car along with a fuel shut off, filters and
pump under the car. A custom made grille was installed under the
radiator.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
CONCLUSION: This car would cost a fortune to duplicate at a
professional shop! Not only the typical restoration costs, but this
car has so many hand fabricated one of a kind pieces and that's
where labor costs really soar. A pile of documentation is included.
It's a great value for a fun, unique muscle car!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
