in 1954 / 55 as Ford's answer to the Chevy Corvette, the
Thunderbird quickly exceeded expectations, outselling the Corvette

The paint is driver quality, though the right front fender wheel
well will need some repair. Chrome and brightwork are also driver
quality, but they still shine nicely. Powered by a 312 CID Y-Block
V8 with a 4-barrel carburetor and mated to a 3-speed manual
transmission, it starts easily and runs smoothly. The red interior
may show a little age, but it is in good condition, evoking the
spirit of 1957. Features include power steering, power brakes, a
telescopic steering wheel, a factory tachometer, and the original
