The 1956 Ford F-100 is one of the most iconic classic American
pickup trucks, admired for its bold styling, strong performance,
and role in shaping the future of light-duty trucks. Part of Ford's
second generation of the F-Series (1953-1956), the 1956 model year
stands out as a one-year-only body style, making it especially
sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. One of the most
distinctive features of the 1956 Ford F-100 is its unique cab
design. Unlike earlier models, it featured vertical A-pillars and a
wraparound windshield, giving the truck a modern, squared-off
appearance. This design also allowed for improved visibility and
added a touch of style that set it apart from other pickups of its
time. Another unique option for the 1956 model was the "Big Back
Window," which greatly improved rear visibility and is highly
prized by restorers today.
This '56 Restomod is the entire package. It's striking red exterior
is set off by gelaming brightwork and black Billet Specialties
wheels. On the inteior, electric leather bucket seats, titl
steering wheel, air-conditioning, Autometer gauges and Sniper EFI
system monitor add a modern touch to a truck that remains classic
on the exterior. Fire up the fuel-injected 350 V8 with serpentine
belt setup with an air compressor and this truck's performance
headers and dual exhaust let those around it know its ready to
roll. Equipped with a Mustang II Heidts independent front
suspension with tubular upper and lower A-arms and rack and pinion
steering, this truck provides a smooth modern ride. All around this
truck it is obvious that it was built to be a bit of a sleeper,
saluting its originality but providing the best in performance and
creature comfort.
