Penny the Pacer was bought by my wife's uncle in 1977 as a pair, from Jimmy Pattison Motors. He bought it with the Ground Effects Rally Package [Carl Green Enterprises]. Uncle John custom built the removable continental kit, which gives it an added flair. My wife and I bought the car from her uncle in 2013 [approximately]. It has a 258 cid, with Jeep inline 6 cylinder. It was always lightly driven by Uncle John, so we believe 69,479 miles is the correct number, because of the condition of the car. In the appraisal we had thought it may have been 169,000, but there's no proof of that 100,000 number. When I bought the car, I had it custom painted by 360 Fabrication in Abbotsford, BC, and also had the carpeting all replaced in it's original colour. The leather seats and interior are all original. The engine was all rebuilt in 2017 [approximately], with the air conditioning also serviced. Professional Appraisal was done in 2023, by Bullseye Auto Appraisals, and available with serious requests.
