This Defender started its life out in Spain, and comes from a very dry climate that is very favorable for these Defenders as there is no rust. This Defender was refurbished in 2023 by Land Rover Defender specialists, Land Legends out of Spain.
In 2024, this Defender 110 also received $21,000 worth of maintenance and mechanical restoration work completed by a Land Rover Specialty shop in New York. The Defender is extremely reliable, and was meticulously and thoroughly refurbished. $21,000 worth of mechanical restoration and service records come with the truck as well.
We just took the Defender on a nonstop 8 hour road-trip and the Defender performed perfectly - it did not skip a beat! These 200 TDI engines are extremely reliable and good on gas. We only had to stop for fuel once! The truck drives very well at highway speeds just fine, thanks to the turbo diesel engine. It has enough power to cruise comfortable on US highways.
The Defender is refinished in a deep Laguna Blue over butterscotch leather interior with wood floors and a Marshall center console speaker system as well.
The 200 TDI engine has plenty of power, and the 5 speed manual gearbox shifts smoothly through all of the gears. The transmission was recently replaced with a new transmission during part of the $21,000 mechanical restoration completed in 2024. The truck currently has about 1,200 miles on the new odometer which reflect the mileage put on the truck since the mechanical restoration.
