1972 Dodge Challenger. Finished in it Original High Impact Color -
Bright Red (FE5). This hardtop coupe featuring a white Rallye vinyl
interior (RXU), built at the Hamtramck plant. Powered by its
original 318 V8 engine paired with a rare factory 3-speed manual
transmission (D13), this Challenger retains its original factory
specifications, including bucket seats (C56), power brakes (B51),
drip rail moldings (M21), and wide sill moldings (M25). Additional
features include the basic AM radio (R11), heater with a 2-speed
blower (H42), and upper door frames painted body color (U). Showing
just under 83k miles, which are very much believed to be original,
this Challenger was owned by the same owner from new until 2010 and
was later repainted in its High Impact Color Bright Red, fitted
with an R/T hood for an aggressive, period-correct look. The
interior remains clean and largely original, featuring white bucket
seats that complement the exterior beautifully. Sitting on BF
Goodrich radial tires, this Challenger comes with extensive
documentation, including the original build sheet and photos
showing the car fully taken apart during its repaint. This example
showcases an attractive combination of Bright Red paint over a
white interior, enhanced by its original styling and trim codes,
making it a well-optioned, nicely preserved, and highly desirable
example of a '72 Challenger.... Read the full description on our
