The car has undergone a meticulous frame-on restoration beginning in 2019, during which it was stripped down to the shell and rebuilt with all-new sheet metal (excluding the roof, rear wheel wells, and rocker panels). It received new doors, fenders, hood, crown panel, and floorboards, with a fiberglass trunk and new torque boxes.
