performance. Originally built with the desirable Muncie M21 4-speed
manual, F41 suspension package, and 3.73 posi-traction rear end,
this Z28 has been cherished by Camaro enthusiasts and kept in a
climate-controlled garage since 2009. The most recent long-term
owners were active members of the Camaro Club, taking the car to
numerous shows and keeping it in top condition at all times. Fully
documented with its build sheet, original window sticker, framed
dealer brochure, and a complete binder of restoration receipts and
photos, this Z28 is the perfect blend of provenance, performance,
and presentation. Please note that the engine is not the original
numbers-matching block.
Exterior
The body is rust-free and was completely refinished during its full
restoration in 2002, with factory-correct Z28 striping and decals
professionally replaced. Paint quality remains excellent, with a
deep gloss and crisp detailing that stands out at shows. There are
a few small blemishes present, all of which are highlighted in our
detailed photos and walk-around video. Trim, glass, and brightwork
are all in great condition, and the factory Z28 front and rear
spoilers, hood scoop, and badging present beautifully. The car sits

the hood.
Interior
Inside, the Z28 retains its correct interior layout, finished to an
excellent standard with original-style upholstery, clean carpeting,
and well-kept door panels and dash. All gauges, switches, and
instrumentation function properly. We note that the they added an
aftermarket Autometer tach to the column so the dash tach is not
functional. The cabin is both show-ready and comfortable for
cruising, with that unmistakable late-70s Camaro cockpit feel.
Under the Hood and Body
The heart of this Z28 is a custom-built 350ci V8 by Martel Racing,
blueprinted and balanced, featuring Edelbrock Performer aluminum
heads and intake, a 750cfm 4-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition,
Hedman ceramic-coated headers, March billet pulley system, and a Be
Cool aluminum radiator with electric fan. Built with premium
components from forged rods to SBI performance fasteners, this
engine was dyno-tuned at an impressive 432 horsepower and 429 lb-ft
of torque at the flywheel. The engine bay is a showpiece in itself,
dressed in polished aluminum, chrome accents, and gloss paint
throughout. A Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission and 3.73
posi-traction rear end send power to the pavement, while the F41
suspension provides excellent handling. Complete engine build specs
and receipts are included. Over $10,000 was invested in this engine
build in 2003-an amount that would be significantly higher if done
today.
Driving
This Z28 delivers exhilarating acceleration and a deep,
authoritative exhaust note that perfectly matches its aggressive
stance. The power delivery is immediate and smooth, and the 4-speed
shifts crisply through the gears. The suspension is tight, the
