1966 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE PHS DOCUMENTED, FRAME OFF RESTORED CALIFORNIA CAR, FACTORY A/C! It stands out with its factory color, Nightwatch Blue code E. The paint is very glossy. When I look down both sides of this car, it is straight. The white convertible power top is in great shape including the rear window. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed to show finish. The stainless trim around the front and rear windows and rocker molding and convertible top moldings have been polished or replaced. The glass is in great shape. It features new weather stripping and window seals. It sits on a set of Pontiac Rally 1 wheels with excellent center caps and trim rings and a set of radial redline tires. The engine compartment is highly detailed with its original, date coded YS 389 motor that has been totally rebuilt, tri-power was added, factory chrome valve covers and stock exhaust manifolds, cadmium plated Delco Moraine power brake booster with a new master cylinder, factory Harrison 4-core radiator (that helps it run cool on hot summer days) and factory clutch fan with correct fan shroud. Other features include correct tower clamps and factory spring type battery cables factory A/C. The engine bay is finished in a black satin. The white interior has that WOW factor up against the Nightwatch Blue exterior. The door panels, armrests and bases, carpet, sill plates all look great. The dash is in excellent shape as well as all the gauge cluster and tachometer which work as they should. The dash pad is in good shape with no cracks. It has a factory Pontiac wood steering wheel, all the windows roll up and down with ease, it has an original 3- speed shifter and a very nice automatic console. There was a factory AM radio which was converted to an AM/FM radio with upgraded kick panel speakers. It also has Pontiac floor mats to match the rest of the interior. The undercarriage, the floors and frame are super clean, no rust and is painted in a black satin. The bottom of the motor and upgraded Turbo 400 3 speed automatic transmission are clean. The front-end suspension is all new. It has new front and rear shocks, upgraded rear sway bar with boxed in control arms. The E-brake cables are hooked up and working. It has a factory style exhaust system going all the way out the back with chrome exhaust tips, newer gas tank, straps and sending unit. Definitely show quality! The trunk is clean. It has a coat of spatter paint finish, no rust whatsoever. Bottom of the trunk is painted nicely. It has new weather stripping and a factory trunk mat. The spare with a tire cover. It also has the complete jack assembly and lug wrench. This is one great looking GTO! It's clean, straight and it's been well cared for! Bottom line being- no matter where you look it is nice!
