This Roque MG A Roadster was owned by one man, a Metro Police
officer for 42 years. The car was serviced by the same British
repair facility for the same 42 years. The car is not a rusty
example ,the body gaps are straight and even with straight fenders
,wings ,and doors. The paint is pearlescent and is fantastic in its
condition.. The chrome and bright work are excellent ,the soft top
and side curtains are in good condition. The seats and carpets need
refurbished, kits can be purchased from Moss Motors,
seats-$599,carpets-$499.99.Gauges are in good order, crisp, clean
and work as designed.
The oversize wheels were purchased in England, shipped and mounted
state side. The big wheels and tires really give the car a bold and
aggressive stance, tires are deep in tread.
Besides the excellent paint, the car runs as aggressive as it
looks, very strong ,tight, and reactive. The motor is strong with
no smoke, the transmission is tight and quiet with working
synchros. One can clearly discern the conscientious thought and
work that has been put into this solid piece to make a great
driver.
