If you want the coolest 57 Truck to cruise around town or the local car shows, then you've found it! This truck started it's restoration and transformation in 1996 and has finally reached a point where it can be enjoyed and driven. An original 3100 short bed truck. An original Cameo box was found in California and brought back to Minnesota for the restoration. The Engine is a 1968 327 that has been rebuilt. The Transmission is a Turbo 400. Underneath, you'll find a 1974 Camaro Sub-frame and Posi traction rear. The Power steering module and Tilt column is from a 1984 Monte Carlo. Front Disc Brakes and Rear Drum were standard from the 1974 SS Camaro so that's what you'll find. The Frame was all painted black during the restoration. From 1996 until 2023 a Father and Son had worked on it together as their family project. They decided to sell and I loved the look and what they had done to it thus far. I have owned this truck for Two years and have continued the restoration work while working on my other Truck project that is now complete. So, this is my Second truck that needs to find a new home. The Paint is very shiny and glossy. I'd say it's a 10-footer. There are nicks, scratches, chips, etc. in the paint so I'd say this truck is definitely considered a Driver Quality truck. It's a Fun Truck that gets a lot of attention. It runs perfect and scoots around very quickly! I've put on about 50 miles this summer after putting in 2 years of work. It's ready for a new home.
