The 2010 Camaro was one of the most anticipated model introductions of its time. It brought styling that was both fresh and retro, along with power levels that hadn’t been seen since the days of cheap leaded gas and carefree emissions.
This 1SS model is a fantastic example of everything that’s right about the fifth generation Camaro. This one-owner car has only 14,500 miles and is in excellent condition with a clean history. The exterior is finished in brilliant Inferno Orange Metallic paint and includes vinyl accent striping on the hood and simulated quarter louvers. It’s hard to miss this one! The underside is very clean as well; be sure to see the pictures. The 20” painted aluminum wheels wear their original Pirelli tires (we can assist with replacement if interested).
Power comes from the remarkable 6.2L L99 engine rated at 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. Despite the high power level, this Camaro is rated for 25 mpg highway. Everything is stock except for a K&N air intake (all original parts are included). The transmission is the optional 6-speed automatic which feeds a limited slip rear end. The ride gives a nice combination of comfort and performance. Along with this comes variable ratio power steering along with the Brembo performance brake package for excellent stopping power.
The interior is gray with black accents and is just what you’d expect from such a low-mile car. As a 1SS it is finished in cloth which, unlike leather, still looks like new after 15 years. The sport bucket seats are quite comfortable and feature SS headrests. The rear seat back folds down for additional trunk storage space if needed. The dash is clean and simple with an instrument cluster that also harkens back to the original Camaro. Note the factory air bag warning tag has never been removed from the glove box door. The original window sticker is included along with a GM car cover.
This is a great opportunity to purchase a first-year retro Camaro without any sketchy history or funny stories. It comes from a good home, looks fantastic, and is fun to drive. And while there are no new Camaros being built, this one is the next best thing.
