This week Canyon State Classics has another fine car for your
bidding pleasure. Here is a very nice 1961 Lincoln Continental
Convertible in great condition inside and out. This Green and White
Lincoln is perfect for cruising around with the entire family while
the top is down.
The car has just completed a full cosmetic restoration and is ready
to find a new owner. The list of some of the equipment:
-300 hp 485 lb torque 430ci MEL V8 (Rebuilt)
-Automatic 3spd Transmission
-Power Steering
-Power Brakes
-Dual Exhaust
-Power Windows (All Work)
-Power Seat
-Power Locks
-Power Antenna
-Gorgeous Leather Interior
-Original Steel Wheels with Period Correct Tires
The exterior on the car is in great condition and is solid as a
rock without an ounce of rust to be found. The car is finished in
Saxon Green and has been treated to a recent repaint and looks
great and turns heads everywhere it goes. The car was completely
disassembled by a professional when it was painted and put back
together. This was not a tape and shoot job! Everything was removed
for paint.... doors, hood, and deck-lid I mean everything! The
white vinyl top is also in great condition and was redone after
paint. All body lines are correct. The car has been buffed and hand
polished to a smooth as glass shine. All chrome and stainless was
also redone or re-polished while it was off for paint. This car is
very solid with no rust in the rockers, floors, or wheel wells
whatsoever. All glass is crack and chip free. The rubber seals are
soft and pliable as they should be. All of the emblems and trim are
beautiful and all of the lenses are crack free.
The interior is in awesome shape all around. All the seats have
just been redone in the last few years in fresh green/ivory
leather. The seating surfaces are flawless as well as the door
panels and carpet. All four of the door panels and wood grain
inserts look good. The carpet is very nice. The steering wheel is
flawless and all of the gauges are absolutely gorgeous and all
gauges work correctly. All of the switches and lights function
correctly. The power windows were just serviced and work great. The
trunk compartment has been beautifully redone using original style
black felt type carpet and looks very original.
Mechanically, this Lincoln runs great. The motor provides ample
power to move the car around comfortably. The car starts right up
and shifts smooth as silk. The brakes are all in good shape and
stop the car with ease. The fully functional power convertible top
was just overhauled at a cost of over $5000 and works perfectly!
The thermostat was just done as well as belts and hoses. All
correct accessories are in place and the motor has been nicely
detailed including a repaint for the air cleaner and valve covers,
as well as a full original decal kit. The car was fully tuned up
and all new belts and hoses installed.
All in all, this is a very nice Lincoln Continental Convertible
that can be driven and enjoyed with out worry. With its classic
body lines and trademark slab sided looks, this car will forever
remain a classic. Please email or call with any questions and we
can help with shipping quotes and arrangements.
We also welcome International buyers. Any further questions please

ready to go. The car is located in Sunny Mesa, Arizona.
