Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 26th year in the
classic and muscle car business. 1932 Fords, particularly the
roadsters and coupes, are without question the quintessential hot
rods for North American enthusiasts. Availability of the world's
first low-priced, mass-marketed V8 engines and 93 years (!) of
exposure have ensured virtual immortality for the iconic Deuce. But
of all the variations of the '32 theme, the Highboy Roadster has to
be my favorite. This traditional style refers to removing the
fenders but leaving the body atop the frame for a classic old
school appearance. This all-steel 1932 Ford Highboy is an
outstanding example of these rowdy roadsters. Lift the louvred hood
and in the beautifully detailed engine bay you'll see the
electronically fuel injected Ramjet 350 V8 that's sporting a set of
headers and a custom AutoRad aluminum radiator with electric fan
and shroud. Additional features include rack and pinion steering,
front disc brakes, a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive, a Currie 9 rear end, an independent front suspension
with chromed tubular A-arms and coilovers, a 4-bar rear suspension
with coilovers, a tilt steering column with beautiful banjo-type
wood wheel, a classic metal dash with AutoMeter gauges, custom
interior with leather bench seat, and big 'n' little tires
(205/50R15 F, 275/55R17 R) wrapped around painted steel wheels with
caps and beauty rings. Please take the time to view the images of
the undercarriage; hot rods are rarely plumbed and constructed this
well. One more top-shelf classic ride from the team that can make
your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full
service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery,
insurance, and financing options.
