This 1999 Chevy Suburban 2500 LT is a super nice, super clean, 2
owner 3/4 ton Suburban that spent its life in California. The last
owner had this truck since 2001 and took meticulous care of this
vehicle. It was always stored inside and comes with the car cover
he used when parked, repair and maintenance manuals, and a folder
full of preventive maintenance receipts totaling $15,000 since
2001. This is a very, very nice rig that the next owner will be
proud top own. The body is super clean and straight and the pewter
Metallic paint appears to be all original and still looks
excellent. All of the chrome is original and nice. The underside of
this rig is extremely clean we found no rust issues with this
vehicle.
The interior is also in excellent shape. The leather seats are
really nice and the driver seat bottom was replaced at some point
because of the normal GM leather wear issues. The headliner, door
panels, carpet, dash are still in beautiful condition. The 3rd row
seat looks like it has never been used. The headlights, taillights,
brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work.
The power windows and power locks are working. The power mirrors
work. The power seats work. This vehicle has tilt wheel and working
cruise control. The horn and windshield wipers work. There is front
and rear heat and AC which are also working. There is also and
aftermarket backup camera that was added to this vehicle.
Mechanically this Suburban is excellent and it runs and drives
wonderful! The engine is the original 7.4L 454 V8 that runs strong
with no issues or red flags that we found. It has obviously been
well maintained and recent work includes a new radiator, new water
pump, new alternator, new AC Compressor and Condenser. It has the
4L80E Automatic transmission that shifts nice and it is mated to
the np246 transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has the
Corporate 14 Bolt rear end with 3.73 gears and a factory limited
slip. It has the IFS front end with 3.73 gears. This is all sitting
on a cool set of period correct aluminum wheels with Michelin LTX
tires.
