One doesn't have to be a die-hard enthusiast to recognize the
Porsche name. The Stuttgart marque has created some of the world's
most iconic sports cars, and despite a legacy stretching back to
the early 1950s, it continues to make headlines with
industry-leading engineering and timeless design. At the core of
their model lineup is the 911, the rear-engined sports car that has
been extensively lauded as being comfortable in any situation,

Unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the seventh-generation
911-internally designated as the 991-marked a major evolution for
the model. The wheelbase was lengthened and the transaxle revised
for improved balance and handling. It also introduced an all-new
engine platform, replacing the venerable Mezger engine in response
to tightening emissions regulations.
Presented to the public in 2014, the Carrera GTS bridged the gap
between the Carrera S and the GT3. It featured a normally aspirated
3.8-liter flat-six producing 430 horsepower-achieved through
revised cam profiles and a redesigned intake manifold. With a focus
on driving engagement, the GTS came standard with performance
enhancements such as the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust
system, Dynamic Engine Mounts, Porsche Torque Vectoring, and
more-offering a compelling mix of daily usability and
motorsport-derived elements.
In addition to the standard upgrades that come with the GTS, this
car is very well equipped with over $20,000 in additional options,
including the Sport Design Package, 18-way Adaptive Sports Seats,
and PDK transmission.
Finished in striking Rhodium Silver Metallic, it delivers a
timeless yet modern aesthetic that highlights the sculpted contours
of the widened GTS bodywork. Optioned with the Sport Design
Package, it features enhanced aerodynamic elements, most notably
the seldom-seen rear ducktail-a design that pays homage to the
legendary RS 2.7. Clear glass taillights subtly complement the
design, blending discreetly into the flowing lines of the bodywork
and enhancing the car's cohesive, sporty look. Additionally, it has
dealer-installed PPF covering the front fenders, hood, and
bumper.
Inside, much of the cabin is dressed in black leather, from the
18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus to the door panels. Behind the
wheel one meets a modern adaptation of the 911's signature
five-gauge setup with the Interior Carbon Fiber Package adding
touches of motorsport detail throughout. Guards Red seat belts add
a pop of color and embossed Porsche crests on the headrests and
model designation on the center console add refinement. The Premium
Package brings added comfort and convenience with features like
ventilated seats, auto-dimming mirrors, and keyless entry and
ignition, while a BOSE audio system ensures crisp, high-quality
sound, an option many Porsche enthusiasts tend to prefer.
Beneath the rear decklid lies the normally aspirated 3.8-liter
flat-six producing 430 horsepower, paired in this example with the
optional ZF designed dual-clutch PDK transmission, delivering
lightning-fast shifts whether left to its own devices or controlled
manually via the paddle shifters. Factory black-finished Turbo S
centerlock wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires
(date code 0318).
Additional equipment includes ParkAssist, aiding low-speed
maneuvering, and a power-operated black cabriolet roof, which stows
seamlessly behind the rear seats for uninterrupted enjoyment of the
GTS experience. Paint protection film was applied to the front of
the car under previous ownership as well.
Accompanying the car is an extensive service history file, with
recent service in the past and current year, including PDK and 4
year/40,000-mile service. In addition, the original books, Porsche
Certificate of Authenticity, original window sticker, car cover,
trickle charger, and spare set of floormats are offered with the
GTS.
Fitted with over $20,000 in options and displaying 11,000 miles at
the time of writing, this example combines the everyday usability
Porsche is known for with the sharper reflexes and spec of the
