1955 Buick Special Riviera two-door hardtop with distinctive
mid-1950s styling and reliable performance. Owned by the same
enthusiast for over 30 years! 264 cubic inch Nailhead V8 engine
paired with an automatic transmission, offering smooth and quiet
operation. The exterior features a beautiful two-tone paint scheme
with a light blue upper body, white bottom, and top, complemented
by extensive chrome detailing and wide white-wall tires mounted on
steel wheels with simple but elegant wheel covers. The paint and
body panels are in excellent condition with only minor imperfection
spots in the brightwork and paint. Inside, the car retains much of
its original character with a blue-gray interior, white vinyl
seating, and carpeting, all appearing clean and well-kept. Modern
touches include the addition of seat belts and a high-quality
Pioneer aftermarket stereo installed under the dash. Minor seeps in
the powertrain and wheel cylinders were noted. Comes with a custom
prop rod for car shows, a unique feature by the previous owner,
which adds to the charm. To start this Buick you turn the key, then
push the throttle to the floor to engage the starter button.
