This stunning 1950 Chevrolet 3100 5-Window Pickup has been restored to show quality standards and is the center of attention everywhere it goes. The Chevrolet 3100 is a half-ton pickup truck that was produced from 1947 to 1955. It's known for its “Advanced Design” styling after World War II. It was a top selling truck in the United States during its production years and remains a popular choice for collectors. As the serial number indicates this example was built at the Oakland, California plant in June as a 1950 Chevrolet 3100 series pickup. From the information gathered the truck spent its entire life in California and was used by an employee of the Yosemite National Park. It was discovered as a barn find in Mariposa, California by its last owner in 2008. It was the product of a professional body off restoration that was completed in 2010. The entire truck was completely disassembled and the body was stripped to bare metal. The sheet metal was prepared, straightened and refinished to high standards including the paint work which is absolutely exquisite. Everything was restored or replaced new throughout. Since completion it's driven 1,266 miles and treated with the best of care. It remained with the last owner for 17 years until it was purchased by MS CLASSIC CARS in May of 2025. MS CLASSIC CARS invested a total of $8,475.93 in service and detail which is documented with an invoice that's included. A new binder with restoration receipts and photos are also included. A restoration of this caliper with the original cost of truck, parts and labor would easily exceed six figures in today's market. It presents like it was restored very recently.

The exterior of this '50 Chevy 3100 is eye-catching with its factory Advanced Design and striking color combination. The body is very straight with excellent panel fitment throughout. The hood and doors close very nicely. It was refinished in the color of Burnt Orange which highlights the 5-window cab and stylish bodylines. The running boards were painted in the color of Light Bronze which has a nice contrast with the Burnt Orange. The high quality paint is ocean deep and virtually flawless. The team at MS CLASSIC CARS performed a full paint correction resulting in a mirror like finish. The front windshield, door glass and rear windshield were replaced new. The rear side glass is original and in good overall condition. Everything on the exterior was replaced new such as the wiper arms, antenna, driver's side mirror, hood emblems, headlight bezels, 7” Wagner headlights, massive front grille, front bumper, door handles, tail lights, rear bumper and rubber seals. It was also outfitted with a new rear bed including the tailgate, chains, wood flooring and stainless steel slats. The truck has a perfect stance on 16” black steel wheels with Chevrolet inscribed chrome hub caps. The wheels are mounted to Delta Akuret Tracker Plus XL 6.50-16 tires.

The interior of this '50 Chevy 3100 is authentic and very tasteful utilizing the exterior color scheme. The back of the cab was painted in Light Bronze. The dash, door panels, steering column, steering wheel and bench seat base was painted in Burnt Orange. The comfortable bench seat was reupholstered in black vinyl. The new headliner, sun visors and door panels are also black. Everything in the interior was restored or replaced such as the dome light, rear view mirror, gauges, dash trim, turn signal mechanism, door handles, window rollers, shifter, pedals, rubber flooring and heating system. Some of the interior upgrades include a 21 circuit fuse box, electric wipers, Trico Vacuum Fan, Classic Car Stereo with Bluetooth and Rockford Fosgate dash speaker. It's equipped with a USB port and new fuel tank that was installed in the factory located behind the seat.

The engine compartment of this '50 Chevy 3100 is very detailed throughout. The backside of the hood, firewall, inner fenders and radiator support panel was refinished in Light Bronze. The 12-volt electrical system is powered by a concealed battery under the passenger floor. The battery has a power cut off knob for storage. All of the wires were covered in wire loom for a neat appearance. The truck is powered by a Z-code 235 Inline six-cylinder that was factory rated with 115hp. This engine was completely rebuilt and runs like a Swiss watch. The engine was painted in Chevrolet Orange and outfitted with a chrome valve cover. The Rochester carburetor is covered with a matching chrome air cleaner. It's also equipped with a 12-volt alternator and PerTronix Flame Thrower ignition coil. Some other new parts include the washer bottle, horns and radiator. The engine breathes through factory manifolds and a new exhaust system. The engine is coupled to a 4-speed manual transmission that operates smoothly.

The undercarriage of this '50 Chevy 3100 is very clean throughout. The floors, chassis, suspension and braking parts were refinished in black. Everything was restored or replaced new underneath. It's equipped with a matching spare.
