1964 Ford Econoline with Travel Wagon collapsible roof plus awning/tent accessory.
This '64 Ford Econoline was purchased in Kentucky originally and was outfitted with the Travel Wagon conversion van package from Travel Equipment Corp of Elkhart IN. I am the 5th owner (to my knowledge) and have been it's caretaker for the last 17 years. I just don't drive it anymore and it's time to let it go.
Features:
- 200 straight six Ford engine
- 3 speed manual column shifter
- Falcon Van Interior front seats, bench seat and interior panels
- Travel Wagon collapsible roof
- Sleeping hammock in roof area
- Ford 9" rear end 3.00 gears
- New in last 10 years:
The van has a 200 CI straight six that was originally from a 1970s maverick and had the head rebuilt and all the other components fuel pump etc. (not the bottom end) replaced about 12 years ago. Drum brakes all around - just installed a new master cylinder this summer. Everything works as it should with the exception of the gas gauge (finicky) and the windshield washer (needs new rubber hosing). This van rarely ever saw rain.
It comes with a canvas awning that also converts to an attached tent - I've seen other travel wagon's with awnings, but have never seen or heard of one with the original tent option. Video on the Tent attachment is listed in the video section here.
The bad: It has some old rusted areas, but because it's been garaged for 17 years, it has not progressed under my ownership. None are visible from the outside unless you get very close. Ask and I'll send pictures. It did get a right rear hit at some point in it's life (before me) so the right rear door has some Bondo cracks and the door alignment is noticeably off.
Asking $19,500
