Vehicle Description
1966 PONTIAC GTO 389 CI, PHS DOC, P/S, FDB, 4-SPEED! This 1966
Pontiac GTO presents itself well in its factory color Fontaine

stainless steel has been polished. The door handles, emblems, tail
light trim and headlight bezels have been replaced. All the glass
is clear. All weather stripping and fuzzies have been replaced. It
sits on a set of factory Rally 1 wheels wrapped with a set of
redline radial tires. The black interior is all new and has that
WOW factor up against the Fontaine Blue exterior. The woodgrain
dash has been redone, all the chrome around the bezels looks good
and the lenses are clear. The dash pad and grab bar are nice. The
bucket seats have new cushions and covers. It also has newer door
panels, armrests and bases, new carpet and sill plates. The
headliner is as tight as a drum. Looking forward at the dash it has
the original black steering wheel, optional factory tachometer and
gauges. It features a factory Hurst shifter with factory wood shift
knob coming out of the four speed console! The heater controls
slide with ease. It has a retro style AM/FM radio. It also features
front and rear seat belts. The engine compartment is nicely
detailed with its completely rebuilt, period correct 389 ci engine,
YC code. It has chrome valve covers. The ignition has been upgraded
to Pertronix HEI. Many of the components look new; wiring, hoses,
fan shroud, fan and 4-core Harrison radiator. It has a newer
cadmium plated power brake booster with a newer upgraded master
dual master cylinder and upgraded front discs brakes. The engine
bay is painted and has a nice satin black finish. The undercarriage
is clean and nicely detailed, original metal floors. The floors are
painted in a nice satin black finish. The frame is also finished
with a satin black finish. The bottom of the motor is clean along
with the Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission. The front
suspension and steering have been completely rebuilt. It has a
newer gas tank, sending unit and fuel tank straps. It has 3:55 rear
end gears. It also has dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers
running out the rear of the car. The E-brake cables are hooked up
and working. The trunk is detailed with a coat of spatter paint and
