Stunningly beautiful piece of history 1972 MG Midget. I have owned this car for four years and have enjoyed every minute. I could go on and on about this car and still miss something. I will try to cover everything I know. When I bought the car it came with a big binder full of receipts for everything that had been done to the car. The car is stock except for some very nice upgrades. The main one being a Datson 210 5-speed manual trans that was professionally installed $4000. MG makes the adapter plate just for this trans. If you know anything about the 4-speed stock manual trans you know if it is not driven the proper way you can burn out the throw out bearing in a very short period of time. All 5 gears in the 210 trans are synchronized and you can drive it normally without worrying about hurting the trans and that 5th gear is a real game changer on the expressways. It is an older restoration with no expense spared. I did some of the items on the list since I have owned it. It is finished in a very rich corvette red. This car runs and drives as good as it looks. This car needs absolutely nothing. A real head turner at car shows. Car will come with all the trophies and plaques that were won at car shows. It will also come with some specialty tools needed for tuning the carbs. Here is a list of things that has been done to the car. Datson 5 speed trans. $4000 installed Engine totally rebuilt. (Head was done by a Proformance shop including hardened valve seats.) cylinders honed with new rings. $3000 Knock off chromed wire wheels. New tires. $400 Brand new top with zip down rear window. $500 Brand new exhaust system. $300 Remote blue tooth sound bar mounted in back so I could keep the stock radio. $300 New side mirrors. New shoulder seat belts. Has boot for convertible top. Has full cockpit tonneau cover that zips down the middle so just the driver's side is open. New center arm rests with storage. New brakes. This is the main list of things, but you really need to see it in person. You will not be disappointed. Pictures really don't do it justice.
