Gateway Classic Cars Tampa Showroom is proud to digitally present
this cool little 1984 Mazda RX-7 GSL-SE. In 1984, MotorTrend
Magazine stated of the GSL-SE, "It sings an irresistible song,
begging to be revved to its redline and thrown into corners, and it
communicates the joys of the sports-car experience to its driver."
The GSL-SE option got you the bigger 13B rotary engine producing
135hp. That may not be much by today's standards, however, for 1984
the RX-7 0-60 times where only a second behind a Z-28 Camaro of the
day. These little Mazda's use to be everywhere, but you hardly see
them anymore. This particular Mazda has been in the consignors
family for a number of years and has a clean Carfax. In addition,
the car was recently resprayed in its original white color. The
interior is still in impressive condition and the factory sunroof
works easily. RX-7s in this condition don't come up for sale often
anymore and this one is a stick!
