The Bronco was Ford's first offering into the sport utility vehicle
(SUV) market and was released in 1966 to originally compete with
Jeep's CJ5 and the International Scout. Since its release, the Ford
Bronco has captured the hearts of offroad enthusiasts and
collectors alike. Today, these iconic SUV's continue to hold their
place in the classic and collector market with many Bronco's being
used as the platform to build the resto-mod of their dreams. That
is what we have here in this nicely restored 1971 Ford Bronco with
just over 75,000 original miles. This great Bronco benefits from an
older repaint in its current Red exterior paint that still shines
very well and is in very good condition. The Bronco's Red exterior
is nicely complimented by its factory chrome and stainless trim,
new front and rear chrome bumpers, factory "Ford" and "Bronco"
emblems, a like-new Brown Rampage convertible top, and factory
steel wheels wrapped in Michelin LTX tires. This Bronco features a
very original interior retaining its original White vinyl bucket
seats and door panels. The White vinyl interior is in very good
condition throughout for the age and originality with only minor
wear present. Powering this beautiful, first generation Ford Bronco
is a supercharged 3.8 liter V6 crate engine backed by a AOD 4-speed
automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission have less
than 3,000 miles and perform just as they should, pulling this
beautiful Bronco down the road with ease. This Bronco is nicely
equipped with options such as: power steering, front disc brakes,
Kenwood AM/FM stereo w/ CD and Aux, and variable speed wipers. The
build of this awesome Bronco is nicely documented by a folder of
receipts and service records from throughout the build. If you are
in the market for a 1st-gen Bronco that is turn-key ready to enjoy,
retains much of its original styling and benefits from some added
modern performance, then you will not want to miss out on this very
unique and well built 1971 Ford Bronco.
