Shop in Rosenberg, Texas and features a no-expense-spared
high-performance upgrade package that unleashes the full potential
of the hand-built LS7!
This Z/28 comes equipped with a Stage 3 LS7 Camshaft, .660" Dual
Spring Kit with PAC Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers, 3/8"
Chrome-Moly Pushrods, and an LS7 Bronze Bushing Rocker Arm Trunnion
Upgrade Kit. The cylinder heads were removed and CNC ported,
cleaned, resurfaced, and received Ferrea Lightweight Hollow Stem
Valves, with CHE Bronze Valve Guides and PCD milling for proper MLS
gasket sealing. Valve clearances were corrected and combustion
chambers were volumetrically matched by hand.
It also features a Nick Williams 103mm Throttle Body (Black), MSD
Atomic Airforce LS7 Intake Manifold (Red), DSX GM Fuel System with
Atomic EFI Billet Fuel Rails and Push Connect Fittings, Elite
Engineering Catch Can Kit, and an American Racing Z/28 Short System
Exhaust.
Further supporting the build is a Holley Standard Height LS Valve
Cover Package with Satin Black Finish, Vibrant Performance AN
Push-On Flex Hose and Fittings, and a full set of Chevrolet OEM
timing and cooling components including LS7 lifters, head gaskets,
crankshaft damper bolt, water pump gasket, cam bolt kit, timing
cover, and a 160-Degree Thermostat.
The car was professionally installed, dyno tuned, and street tested
by J-Rod's Speed Shop using HP Tuners.
