This 1976 Jeep CJ-5 is a really clean, all steel, nicely restored
CJ-5 that spent its life in California before going to Oregon in
2022. This Jeep was rust free, clean and solid when it was
restored, so they did a body on restoration and they did a bunch of
upgrades to it to make its a cool, reliable driver. The body is all
steel and it is clean and solid. When it was restored in 2022 it
was repainted in its original color of Brilliant Blue (really cool
original color). The paint is nice, but it is not perfect. It shows
really well. It looks like they disassembled the Jeep when they
repainted it as everything is blue and the bolts all look new. It
has aftermarket front bumper with built in LED lights and new
Smitty Built 9500 pound winch. It also has the headlights upgraded
to LED and and a full LED lighter above the windshield. It has
Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers with steps installed too. It has a
Bestop soft top with soft doors still in great condition. The
underside of this Jeep is super clean with no rust issues.
The interior was redone when it was restored. They added new
Corbeau front bucket seats and all new gauges. They added new
stainless steering column with tilt wheel, a lockable center
console, and nice stereo system that works. The headlights,
taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The
gauges all work. The LED light bars and the winch working. The
heat, horn, and windshield wipers work. They bed-lined the floor.
This Jeep also has the factory roll bar.
Mechanically this Jeep is excellent and it runs and drives great!!
It has the 304 V8 engine that was rebuilt and has a new Carb, HEI
ignition, dual exhaust, aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
The engine runs strong and sounds great! It has the T150 3 Speed
manual transmission that shifts great with a strong clutch. It is
mated to the Dana 20 Transfer Case and the 4WD works like it
should. The rear axle is an AMC 20 with 3.54 gears and the front
axle is a Dana 30 with 3.54 gears. The Jeep has a 2 Inch Lift with
all new springs and shackles that are upgraded to a YJ style spring
(wider for better handling). It also has all new shocks. The
steering was upgraded to power steering with a new gearbox, power
steering pump, and steering shaft. It has power front disc brakes
with a new booster and upgraded master cylinder. They also
installed an all new wiring harness. This is all sitting on a a
real cool set of aluminum mag wheels with a like new set of 32 Inch
Falken Rocky Mountain All terrain Tires.
