-Fiesta Red over Natural Leather and Natural Carpeting, 4.2 Liter 6
Cylinder engine, 5 speed gearbox, RHD, 78,000 miles from new.
The most useable of the Touring of Milan styled DB's, the DB6 with
Vantage specifications has both practicality and performance in
abundance.
This DB6 has been well known to Autosport Designs and the AMOC
(Aston Martin Owners Club) previously and subsequently imported to
the USA by Autosport Designs in 2005 and having covered 70,000
miles at that point.
Major works (documented) carried out in the late 90's by marque
specialists, have included a chassis restoration, bare metal
re-paint , engine rebuild to 4.2 ltr fast road specs (with dyno
sheet), transmission overhaul, suspension rebuild with harvey
bailey handling kit and rear telescopic shock conversion fitted and
brakes overhauled. Further service work carried out regardless of
use. Over the past 8 years, the car has lived in a
climate-controlled garage. With collector ownership and limited use
it still remains in excellent condition throughout. Striking
colors, excellent provenance and very rewarding driving experience
truly makes a wonderful opportunity to get behind the wheel (on the
"right" Side) of a historical Aston Martin motorcar.
Comes complete with documentation that includes British Motor
Industry Heritage Trust Certified Copy of Factory Record, extensive
worksheets dating from 1990 to present day, Owners handbook, Jack,
Hammer and spare wheel.
