INTRODUCTION: Here is your dream car! A Hellcat powered 1970
Challenger that underwent a thorough restoration with many
upgrades. Over 700 horsepower is handled by the 8 speed automatic,
QA1 chassis, Wilwood brakes and a Sure Grip rear end! Not only does
it offer awesome performance but it is a looker too!
EXTERIOR: They got the stance, colors and the wheels just right on
this one, it's hot! The body is amazing: it is clean, straight and
fits right. I didn't see any damage, bubbles or issues. It has the
R/T dual scoop hood with racing pins. Painted B5 blue without a
vinyl top and the metallic is laid out evenly, the clear coat is
polished to a high gloss finish. The satin black stripe on the hood
and the white R/T stripes down the side really set it off. The new
pop up gas cap is always a cool touch too. Overall the chrome and
trim is very nice, the windshield was replaced. The weatherstrips
were all replaced. Upgraded with Draper smoked halo headlights with
amber turn signals and in back it has bright LED sequential
taillights. $10,000 Forgeline CV3C forged bronze wheels with a
polished lip: 19s in front, 20s in back wrapped in Continental
Extreme Contact tires.
INTERIOR: Restored with new seat cushions, upholstery, carpet, door
panels, dash pad and headliner. American Auto Wiring throughout and
it is upgraded with Dakota Digital RTX gauges that look amazing. A
Bluetooth stereo and Vintage Air electric controls are another nice
upgrade. A beautiful steering wheel is mounted to an Ididit tilt
column.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The star of the show: a 6.2L supercharged
Hellcat making over 700 hp! It was disassembled down to a bare
block and rebuilt in 2024. Upgrades include a 2.85" pulley,
Injector Dynamics injectors, Modern Muscle extreme cam shaft,
rocker shaft stabilizers and TTI ceramic coated headers. The
supercharger was serviced with new bearings. It has a remote oil
cooler and an inter cooler with pump and reservoir. New engine
cooling system including dual electric fans, an aluminum radiator,
shroud and overflow tank. The air conditioning system was gone
through and the compressor replaced. It has power steering and
power brakes with a Wilwood master. Other finishing touches
includes hood insulation, cowl seal, fuel regulator, serpentine
belt system, cadmium plated fender bolts, and a carbon fiber intake
tube. The engine bay was painted beautifully with the motor
out.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
slick like the car. Inside is solid metal painted black. It has a
reproduction weatherstrip, gas filler tube and trunk mat. The gel
battery has been relocated to the trunk and is securely mounted in
a billet hold down.
UNDERSIDE: It is significantly improved under this car. It has a
QA1 2-4 inch drop front and rear suspension system. Upfront has a
tubular cross member, swaybar, tubular control arms, coilover
adjustable gas shocks, rack & pinion steering. Frame rails are
welded in to prevent body twist. In back is a coilover conversion
system with adjustable coilover gas shocks, tubular control arms
and swaybar. The TTI 3 inch exhaust with x-pipe and square tips
sounds sweet. Upgraded Wilwood brake system with 12 inch drilled
and slotted disc at all four wheels, 6 piston calipers in front.
New Tanks Inc 18 gallon coated EFI fuel tank system. The bottom of
the motor has a Holley oil pan and high torque starter. The trans
is from a Hellcat Red-eye, it's an 8HP90 8-speed automatic. New
custom driveshaft leads back to a recently rebuilt 8 rear end
with Yukon gears, 3.55 posi. The floors appear to be solid and
painted black.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
CONCLUSION: We see a lot of GMs with LS conversions and even some
Ford's with Coyote upgrades, but never do we see a Mopar with a
Hellcat conversion! This is the best of both worlds; cool vintage
looks with modern performance! Better hit the buy it now, there
won't be another one.
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
