This 1985 Chevy K-10 Silverado Short Box Pickup is a really nice,
really clean squarebody truck yay spent its life in Southern
california and Nevada. These short box pickups are very hard to
find. A lot of money was spent on the drivetrain to make it a
reliable driver someone. This truck had a lot of options for an
1985. The body on this truck is clean and straight. It was
professionally repainted at some point in its original color of
Doeskin Tan and the paint still looks great. The original chrome
and trim still look great and the truck had some new body side
moldings installed. The truck had a plastic Berliner in it for
white awhile so the bed is really clean and straight as well. The
underside is really solid and clean as you would expect from the
area this came from and we found no rust issues with this
truck.
The interior is also really nice. It original bench seat was
reupholstered and it also has a new headliner and dash cover. The
door panels and carpet are original and still nice. The headlights,
taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all working. It has
aftermarket gauges that are working. The heat, horn and windshield
wipers work. This truck has tilt wheel and it came with cruise but
the cruise is not working. This was also an AC truck from the
factory but it is not working as it is missing the compressor,
lines, and condenser.
Mechanically this truck is excellent. It starts easy, sounds great,
and drives wonderful. The engine is a new 5.7L 350 V8 Crate Engine
with around 4-5,000 miles on it. We did not get receipts but you
can see it is new. They added an Edelbrock aluminum intake,
Edelbrock Carb, and headers with dual Flowmaster exhaust. It also
has HEI ignition, new water pump, new fuel pump, and newer hoses
and belts. It has the 700R4 transmission that shifts great and was
rebuilt (have receipt). It is mated to the np208 transfer case
which was resealed and the 4WD works like it should. It has a
Corporate 10 Bolt rear axle with 3.08 gears and a factory limited
slip. The front axle is also a 10 Bolt with 3.08 gears. This truck
has a great stance with a newer 2 Inch Lift with new shocks. They
added 33 Inch All terrain Tires to the Factory Rally Wheels to
finish offf the look. Really cool truck!!
