There is no Volkswagen that is more collectible than the classic
Beetle. The Bug, also known as the Type 1, features a rear-mounted
air-cooled flat-four engine and simple mechanics that made it
popular worldwide. This 1974 VW Beetle has been fully restored
(2024) and carefully modified. It was professionally resprayed
2-tone Emerald Green/White and is stunning. Steel wheels with
center hubcaps with trim rings mount radial tires and a handsome
period-correct wood-trimmed roof rack has been installed. The
black/tan vinyl interior has been nicely refreshed and is in very
good condition. Upholstery, headliner and door cards are all
outstanding. Features include tinted windows, an Empi shifter and a
raging Kenwood premium AM/FM/CD sound system.
Horsepower is provided by what is believed to be a 2110cc Mofoco
stroker motor that features:
• 8.8:1 Compression
• 76mm Counterweighted crankshaft
• Forged pistons
• CB Performance heads w/40mm-36mm valves
• Engle Performance camshaft
• Dual EMPI 40mm HPMX carburetion
• Serpentine belt system
• 'BugPack' stainless exhaust
The owner states that this engine has just over 2,500 miles on it
since installation. It sits in a spotless engine compartment and is
fully chrome dressed. This air-cooled boxer sounds amazing and
provides smooth torque to a 4-speed manual transaxle. Stopping
power is furnished by manual 4-wheel drum brakes. This Bug is
serious Volkswagen fun that really performs. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
