Major restoration work completed in 2018 transformed this 1985
Chevrolet C10 Silverado into the light blue metallic truck you see
today. The custom hood adds an aggressive profile while the rear
roll pan eliminates the traditional bumper for a cleaner finish.
Sitting on 15" Cragar wheels wrapped in 215/65R15 front and
295/50R15 rear BFG tires, the stance is both functional and
purposeful. Light blue metallic paint covers the body panels,
complemented by aftermarket clear tail lights and a roll-away
tonneau cover that spans the bed.
Blue cloth interior creates a cohesive color scheme throughout the
cabin, featuring bucket seats with a folding armrest design and
conversion truck styling. The B&M floor shifter puts gear
changes at your fingertips while the Pioneer
AM/FM/CD/MP3/satellite/auxiliary head unit handles entertainment
duties. Power windows and locks provide convenience, while the tilt
steering column with custom wood grip steering wheel adds comfort
during longer drives. Secondary gauges under the dash replace the
factory dash gauges and include an Auto-Meter Phantom speedometer,
Sunpro tach and a trio of Equus gauges for water temp, volts, and
oil pressure.
Summit built 350 V8 engine anchors the powertrain, installed in
2018 and fed by a Holley single 4-barrel carburetor with mild
performance cylinder head and camshaft specifications. The 700R4
4-speed automatic transmission transfers power to a 10-bolt posi
rear axle for reliable traction. Hedman long tube headers lead to
dual FlowMaster exhaust for a rowdy exhaust note and can be made
even more so with the existing manual cut-outs. Power disc brakes
handle stopping duties, supported by coil spring front suspension
with shocks and sway bar plus solid axle rear with leaf springs and
shocks.
