Originally hand built in the UK and first registered in September of 1967, this right hand drive example was imported to Southern Ontario in 1984. Copies of the original purchase records and import documents are included in a file binder. This Jensen has undergone an extensive and painstaking restoration resulting in a beautiful and powerful grand touring automobile. The previous owner travelled to the UK many times to source replacement parts. The body was completely restored using factory parts sourced in the UK and is finished to a high standard. Stainless trim and glass are in excellent condition. All rubber seals are new and were purchased in the UK. The chrome was refinished at Cambridge Custom Chrome. The leather interior is like an old English parlour with wood veneered console and wood rimmed steering wheel. The original Chrysler 383 V8 has been rebuilt, with heads converted to hardened valve seats for modern fuel. The duel stainless exhaust has a throaty rumble. The 3 speed Torque Flight automatic transmission has also been rebuilt. All suspension components have been dismantled, cleaned and rebuilt.
