This Healey is the pride of its consignor, a former commercial
pilot who lives here in Laguna Beach and he has taken fantastic
care of it . It is well documented and completely up to date with
all systems operating properly. Recent maintenance includes a new
clutch, new stainless steel exhaust and new tires.
Here are the consignor's comments: "Healey Background Info
In the early 1990s, I was restoring a Triumph at my home in Laguna
Beach, but it was lost in the 1993 fire. Around that time, I was
friends with Mick Felder, who owned Felder's Body Shop in Hermosa
Beach. He had recently purchased two Austin Healeys, and in 1998, I
bought one of them from him.
Mick did a significant amount of work on it, (as you can see from
the photos). Throughout 1999 I frequently visited the shop, and was
actively involved in the car's full restoration. In 2000, I brought
the completed car home to my home in Laguna Beach. I purchased the
car for $24,000 and invested over $20,000 into the restoration. The
car was restored using all the original parts, with no
modifications, all the numbers match. I have a British Motor
Industry Heritage Trust certificate verifying this (please see the
attached photo). I also have a folder containing all receipts and
documentation of the work done over the years (this folder is
currently on the driver's seat of the car.) Most recently, I
replaced the tires, installed a new clutch, and added a new
stainless steel exhaust system.
Over the years, I've taken the Healey to numerous shows and Healey
Club events, where it has won several awards. Most notably, in
2000, I drove it on a Healey Club Tour through Europe-3,000 miles
across England, France, Germany, and Switzerland. It was the drive
of a lifetime!
There are three keys for the Healey: one for ignition, one for the
trunk, and one for a lock box behind the seat, which holds extra
parts for the car (next to the 12 volt battery)."

certification requirements and comes with the Heritage Corticate,
Owner's Manual, side windows, toneau cover, 25+ years of service
receipts, spare tire, tools, extra AH parts, and a clean California
title.
