1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur 4 Door Sedan
The 1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur was the long wheelbase version of
the Silver Spirit, introduced to the North American and Japanese
markets in that year. It featured a 6.75 liter V8 engine, a three
speed automatic transmission, and a self leveling suspension
system. Notable for its fuel injection system, (replacing
carburetors in the US and Japan), and energy absorbing bumpers.
Up for auction is this 1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur 4 door sedan.
This car presents in very good condition with unknown mileage but
with all the extravagant interior features of leather and wood fit
for the world's most renowned luxury car.
Exterior
A light shade of yellow Rolls refers to as Magnolia covers the car

good and the legendary Rolls-Royce grille is topped by the Spirit

of the latch panel, turning the corner slightly to be seen from the
side. Chrome accents include the side mirrors, dual exhaust tips,
and robust door handles. 15-inch wheels are dressed with hubcaps
and trim rings, wrapped in white wall tires.

leather bucket seats up front which are fully intact and thick, and
the rear 2+2 seats follow suit. Burlwood veneer is the background
for the gauge cluster and dashboard which is in good condition and
toes deep brown carpet covers the floor. The trunk is also finished
with thick brown carpet.
Drivetrain
Clean under the hood is the 6.75 liter V8 which utilizes a Bosch
K-Jetronic injection system to help it produce 170 horsepower.
Behind it, GM's TH400 3-speed automatic sends power to the rear
axle and 3.07 gears. Naturally, power disc brakes are employed on
this top tier luxury vehicle.
