The 1959 Chevrolet El Camino, introduced as Chevrolet's first
personal pickup model, combined the styling of the 1959 passenger
cars with the utility of a pickup truck It featured a
"Safety-Girder" X-frame and full coil suspension, offered in
various engine and transmission options, and came in a range of
colors. The El Camino was designed to be more than just a truck or
a car, offering a unique blend of both.
Up for auction is a 1959 Chevrolet El Camino showing 18,187 miles,
but the true miles are unknown. This first year El Camino presents
in good condition and cranks but doesn't start.

bumper. The bed is lined and fully finished with a charcoal cloth
covering. 15-inch Pacer wheels carry 215/70R15 white wall
tires.
