The Ferrari 308 is one of Pininfarina's most iconic designs from
the 1970's and 80's, moving well-forward from that of the previous
246 Dino. It was an instant hit later went on to become one of
Ferrari's most iconic models. With the success of the 308 GTB and
GTS models, Ferrari retained the same formula for the car's
successor, the 328. Its design remained very similar with minor
updates including molded bumpers, a slightly smaller front grille,
and a small roof spoiler that was mounted just behind the rear
seats. The lines of the 328 were smoothed out for a more modern
look, making the car appear slightly less aggressive, but more
refined. The 328's interior included more supportive seats with
updated ergonomics which translates to a further refined driving
experience. The Ferrari V8 engine was bored out to 3.2 liters,
hence the 328 model designation. Horsepower was increased to 270
bhp at 7,000 rpm which propelled the 328GTS from 0-60 in 5.9
seconds and reach a top speed of 163mph.
This example is the desirable final year of production with the
revised suspension, wheels and fitted with ABS. Sold new by Newport

Covering just over 7,000 miles in its first twenty years and then
1,000 miles over the last 15 years this 328 is a true time warp
example and in impeccable condition throughout. A great candidate
for Ferrari Classiche or Ferrari Platinum presentation.
More recently, this 328 GTS has been owned by a very good friend of
Autosport Designs, Inc, a well-known and respected Los Angeles
based collector. While in this ownership, this 328 GTS was
entrusted to specialists Gran Turismo of Los Angeles for a Major
service including timing belts, Air conditioning service, Cooling
system service, Brake service, Gear oil replacement, New tires,
Bluetooth stereo head unit, absolutely anything and everything to
bring this 328 GTS to exceptional, maintained and ready to use
condition. All maintenance-service records are on file.
Since having been serviced, this 328 GTS has been used and enjoyed
on the 2025 Igniter Tour for 1,000 miles and proved itself to be
exceptional having completed the event in flawless form and without
issue.
Without a doubt one of the finest examples of a 328 GTS available
today, it comes complete with Books, Pouch, Spare wheel/tire and
Jack kit.
