The 2001 Ford Mustang GT Bullitt was released as a special edition
to pay homage to the legendary 1968 Mustang fastback driven by
Steve McQueen in the classic film Bullitt. Based on the GT, the
Bullitt received a host of performance and appearance upgrades that
made it stand out from the standard Mustang lineup. It featured
subtle visual cues inspired by the movie car, as well as
performance tweaks that improved the driving dynamics, including a
reworked intake system, suspension revisions, and enhanced braking.
Limited in production, the 2001 Bullitt became an instant
