1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, 2-door hard top classic coup. This is an original, single family-owned beauty that was purchased new, June 1957 in Midland, Texas and has remained a Texas registered auto since.
Between 2000-2004 a total frame-off, rotisserie restoration was performed by Dickie Jones in Big Spring, Texas. No expense was spared in this restoration effort as it retained its original rare two-tone colors of Imperial Ivory for the top and striking Dusk Pearl for the body. The interior package is in the classic Chevrolet black and silver upholstery with the correct door panels, sun visors and black carpet.
Original block 283 V-8, 4-bbl Rochester Carburetor, dual exhaust “Power Pack” engine with power steering, power brakes and matched up to the power-glide automatic transmission.
In 2022 the car was serviced where the fuel, brake and rear differential systems were flushed, serviced and adjusted. The heater core was replaced and the Power Steering/Generator Unit was serviced. Carburetor was rebuilt and 4 New Coker Radial White Wall tires were installed.
This 57 is an American Classic that has been owned by the same family since new and would make a beautiful addition as a fully functional and restored to original specification addition for any collector who appreciates these Tri-5 Classics. Also have books, literature and records receipts for restoration and recent service activities.
