MaxMotive is proud to offer this masterfully updated 1966 Mustang
Coupe. Power, power and power is the name of the game with this
1966. Under the aftermarket cowl scooped hood, there lies an
impressive stroked 408 engine. The engine started life as a 351
block that was professionally bored over .030. Documentation sheet
of the engine parts and engine build are available. The engine, to
name a few of the aftermarket components, has Patriot Aluminum
heads, Holley carburetor, Scat Crankshaft, Forged I-Beams, RPM
balancer, ARP bolts, Weiand aluminum intake manifold. The engine
was balanced, blueprinted, and dynotuned. There is a double rolling
timing set, a Howard?s camshaft, Howard?s hydraulic lifters,
aftermarket valve springs to name a few more. A CVF Racing
accessory drive, aluminum radiator, dual exhaust with Flowmaster
mufflers to name a few more of the high end parts on this Mustang.
The transmission is a MonsterTransmission AOD transmission with an
updated stall converter. The converter is rated at a 1900-2300
stall ratio. With all of that horsepower, comes great stopping
responsibility. Wilwood calipers on all corners, paired with
slotted and drilled rotors. A new American Autowire harness was
installed. Sound deadener was installed below the carpet to help
with interior cabin noise before the new harness was laid out.
American Torq Thrust II 17? rims wrapped in Nitto tires with less
than 1,000 miles on since purchase. The exterior is nicely accented
with the cowl scooped hood allowing the engine compartment heat to
dissipate. An aftermarket front lower valance, and striking red and
white exterior match the nicely done interior. Truly, another
example of where you could not build the Mustang to its current
state with the amount of parts and labor invested in this beauty.
Some notes, the air conditioning system was never charged, and the
front windshield needs to be sealed. For additional information,
