1950 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe
Paperwork back to ORIGINAL Bill of Sale to Miss Ruby Johnson who purchased the car new from RM Coleman Motor Co in Warrenton, GA. She owned the car until her death when it was willed to her Niece in GA. I brought the car to Florida in 2023 to add to my collection of, then 16 cars. As my Parkinson”s progressed I sold all of my remaining cars and this is the last to be sold.
This car has NEVER HAD RUST and the paint is 100% original except the drivers door which swung open when Miss Johnson was exiting the car in the 1970’s leaving a crease in the door which was repaired. No other bodywork ever.
Chrome is peeling with surface rust in some places on both bumpers which have no dents or bends-perfect to rechrome. Car has its original 216 CI engine with 3 on the tree and drives well
As with most of my classics in the past the plan was to bring the car up to a higher level.
I purchased the following item to accessorize the car.
- Factory Radio
- Correct Sunvisor
- Front High Grill Guard which required special bumper guards
-Reverse lights
-Rare full disk wheel covers
-Window vent shades
-Brochures, manuals and literature
I purchased these from Noah Gomez of Lapuenta, CA, a longstanding Facebook Vendor of late 40’s and early 50’s Chevy parts. I paid about $3,200 for all of this. I am open to selling these parts separately from the car or with the car for some amount, which I know will be less than I paid.
