This 1955 Ford F100 pickup truck went through a body-off restoration that was completed in early 2008 and has been used sparingly since. The frame and suspension was completely disassembled and powder coated with all new parts being used when reassembled. The engine is a 350 Chevy with a 3 speed TH350 automatic transmission. It retains it's original DANA 44 differential that was completely rebuilt as well. The wiring was replaced with a new Painless harness. Most of the trim and bed strips are polished stainless and most of the screws and hardware used to reassemble are stainless as well. The bed wood is Oak and has 5 coats of marine varnish. The bed has a removable fiberglass cover. The truck is optioned with power steering, front power disc brakes, and working Vintage Air Conditioning. This build was literally a labor of love for the men who built it over the course of 3 years. Everything works and nothing is needed except for someone to take it out and have fun!
