Vehicle Description
Eric's Muscle Cars is proud to offer this 1940 Willys Pickup ! If
your Willys groove is an original un-cut steel body and boxed
original frame, plus a classic stance for a vintage attitude...
then your long wait is over! No question there are dozens of
awesome and beautiful glass coupes, sedans, and radical pickups on
the market in the $55,000 to $120,000 range, and the occasional
unreachable steel coupes over $125,000, but here you will find a
rare and fair priced resto-mod truck that is well known in Willys
World. This one began as a Federal Government vehicle in eastern
Washington state. Dry climate and low mileage preserved it nicely
and it was first rodded in the early 1980's. The acrylic enamel on
the cab/front clip and beautiful pinstriping throughout have been
preserved since that time. The original color "Desert Tan" (aka
"Willys Tan") truck spent time in Washington, Colorado, and Texas
until arriving with us on the east coast over 20 years ago. Racing
history includes Bandimere Dragway in CO in the 1990's. BODY &

exceptionally rust free and no serious body repairs The cab, doors,
front fenders, and center section are 1980's Acrylic Enamel. The
bed and rear fenders are recent Acrylic Urethane. There is a slight
mismatch of color but it has never been noticed unless pointed out.
It also shows more or less depending on light, time of day, etc.
Pin Striping is beautiful throughout, a real nice touch from the
original build in 1980. The Tailgate "Willys" stencil is absolutely
1940 authentic. The "Waredaca Brewery" stickers on the front
fenders conceal some gravel paint chips. In summary, the truck is a
very cool driver and 10 footer...it looks GREAT at cruise-ins,
nostalgia drags and car shows...an absolute crowd pleaser. Original
pickup step plates (behind rear fender) are included. CHASSIS: Very
