Yellow and white never looked this good. The two-tone finish on
this 1956 GMC 3100 Restomod is laid down with such care it almost
feels too clean to touch. It's not just bright-it's deep, uniform,
and unapologetically vivid. Every panel pops with gloss and
precision, setting the tone for the white bumpers, cab visor, and
epoxy-coated wood bed that all play into the truck's custom
aesthetic. Color-matched 15-inch steel wheels with chrome center
caps sit wrapped in wide whitewall Auburn Premium radials
(235/75R15), locking in the period-correct profile with modern
restraint.
Green and light gray vinyl-and-cloth bucket seats sit flanked by a
custom-fabricated center console trimmed to match. The dash and
interior sheet metal are finished in white and yellow to mirror the
body's exterior, giving the whole cab a cohesive, tailored feel. A
wood-rimmed steering wheel sits on a tilt column, and the gauges
are housed in a crisp set of white-face Classic Instruments.
Short-pile carpet, LED under-dash lighting, and a clean install of
the Sniper EFI module in the glovebox speak to the thoughtfulness
of the interior build. A Sony AM/FM/XM/CD stereo with AUX and
Bluetooth runs through Rockford Fosgate component speakers, while
the air conditioning keeps the cab cool.
A 350ci GM small block sets the pace, topped with a Holley Sniper
EFI system mounted on a Summit aluminum intake. Long-tube headers
feed into a MagnaFlow dual exhaust system, giving it a sharp bark
with clean tone. It's backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic, feeding
a 12-bolt rear. The engine bay is worth a second look-tight,
uncluttered, and professionally wired, with details like an
aluminum radiator with electric fan and Moroso plug wires adding
both polish and performance. The Mustang II-style front suspension
with rack and pinion steering and power disc brakes finish off the
build.
