Vehicle Description
What started as a clean original has now been transformed into
something far more serious. This 1939 Ford 5-Window Coupe
Streetrod, finished in a rich blue single-stage paint, was stripped
to bare metal recently in 2024 with over $30K invested in the
finish alone. A blend of custom bodywork and subtle detailing makes
the exterior tight and refined. It sits right over a set of 17"
American Racing wheels wrapped in 225/45R17 and 245/45R17 Falken
rubber.
Tan Italian leather sets the tone inside, thanks to a full custom
treatment by Art Ramirez of Unique Interiors. The bucket seats,
console with cup holders, and matching rear area are fitted clean
with attention to contour and stitching. A Flaming River tilt
column, Auto-Meter classic gauges, and integrated Vintage Air setup
complete the driving environment, while the Auto Sounds Bluetooth
stereo with sub handles cabin audio. The trunk area is fully
finished, matched to the rest of the build.
The 408 Stroker under the hood received the full treatment. Built
from a new 351W block, it runs a Scat rotating assembly, AFR
aluminum heads, roller rockers, and Howard cam. Fuel delivery comes
through a Holley carb and Weiand intake. The Ford 9" rear with 3.50
traction lock is hung from a four-link with coilovers, and Heidts
Mustang II Superide handles the front end. Wilwood disc brakes all
around, MagnaFlow dual exhaust, shorty headers, tubular A-arms, and
an AOD 4-speed automatic with 2400 stall complete the setup.
