first postwar truck redesign.
The trucks 216ci Thriftmaster engine made around 92 horsepower and
174 lb-ft of torque.
These trucks had torque-tube driveshafts and non-synchro 1st gear,
making driving a skilled, mechanical experience.
Known as a five-window or three-window depending on cab this one is
the classic three-window.
