1987 Jeep Comanche - 4.0L, 5-Speed Manual, Solid Daily Driver with
Extras Up for sale is a 1987 Jeep Comanche 2WD, equipped with the
legendary 4.0L inline-six and a 5-speed manual transmission. With
169,800 miles, this MJ runs, drives, and stops as it should. It
served as a daily driver until recently, when I brought my other
car out of storage and started driving my KEI truck - so now it's
time for someone else to enjoy it. Mechanical Notes: Starts, runs,
and drives reliably Has a few holes in the exhaust, but included in
the sale are: New muffler Exhaust pipe Hangers Manifold gasket
Typical 4.0L oil leak, likely from the rear main seal or oil pan
gasket - manageable with occasional checks Other Details: Interior
is in excellent condition: Leather door panels Leather seat in
great shape Only one small crack on the driver-side dash corner
(see photos) Frame is solid - it's been oil sprayed nearly every
year for the past 5 years Rust spots exist in typical MJ/XJ trouble
areas: Lower door kicker panels Rear bed panels Easily fixable with
some cutting and patching Why I'm Selling: Simply put - I don't
drive it much anymore. It's only been out 3 times in the past 7
months, and I'd rather see it go to someone who'll use it. This
Jeep is not a rust bucket, and with a weekend's worth of attention,
