1967 Lancia Fulvia Sport 1.3S Zagato!
This 1967 Lancia Fulvia Sport 1.3S Zagato was imported to the US in 1984 and was acquired by the seller in September of 2022. It is finished in red over a black interior and is powered by a 1.3-liter narrow-angle V4 mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes twin Dellorto carburetors, four-wheel disc brakes, an electrically-operated rear lift hatch, low-back bucket seats, and wood dash trim. This Fulvia Sport Zagato is now offered with records beginning in 2005 and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The Fulvia Sport was designed by Ercole Spada for Zagato and debuted at the 1965 Turin Auto Show. This example is finished in Rosso York and was repainted during previous ownership. Exterior details include chrome bumpers, a Talbot-style Matador driver-side mirror, and a locking fuel filler cover. The rear hatch can be raised electrically via a switch on the dashboard to allow for ventilation in the cabin. Ivory-painted 14” steel wheels wear bright hubcaps and are mounted with 165-width Vredestein Sprint 80 tires. Four-wheel Dunlop disc brakes were standard equipment on the Fulvia. The track and tie rod assemblies were replaced during prior ownership.
The cabin houses low-back bucket seats that have been reupholstered in black vinyl along with a replacement headliner and carpeting in the rear compartment. The wood trim on the dash has also been refinished, and amenities include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, an analog clock, and rubber floor linings.
A wood-rimmed two-spoke steering wheel fronts Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 200-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 98k kilometers (61k miles), approximately 2,000km of which were added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 1.3-liter narrow-angle V4 is fitted with twin Dellorto carburetors and received replacement valve cover gaskets and engine mounts during previous ownership. The exhaust system is said to have been replaced in 2018. Power is sent to the front wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle.
