Vehicle Description
Features... Power Brakes, Power Windows, Tachometer, Tilt Steering
Wheel, Seat Belts Notes... 1955 Chevrolet, 2 door 210 Prostreet
Restomod. This remarkable award-winning show car is the perfect
blend of old school flair, well planned custom modifications and
modern technology. It is near perfect everywhere you look and as
impressive in performance as it is in looks. When sitting still,
one cannot help but be drawn in by the beautiful paint job and
meticulously polished brightwork. The Paint is red orange (think
Chevrolet "Roman Red" or close to it). The flawless body, with some
subtle modifications, was painted by K Daddy in Bakersfield, CA
featuring tastefully applied graphics and stripes and a custom hood
with a beaded opening that perfectly surrounds the K&N styled
air breather. The beauty of the car's appearance almost makes you
forget that it's a race car. Oh yeah. It's that and more.... The
stance of the car is adjusted by virtue of the car's Ride Tech air
ride system, lowering the beast to mere centimeters from its launch
pad. The 454 cu in Engine was bored 0.60 over and dynoed at 800 hp,
with 900 ft lbs of torque. That's true Chevy power! The engine was
built with roller rockers, a "Big Mother Thumper" Comp cam, AFR
aluminum heads, and has new valve cover gaskets, New rings, new
bearings, new lifters, new springs, etc. Riding above the two 4
barrel tunnel Ram intake set up, is a Fast brand dual throttle body
system that is computer-controlled along with a variable timing
distributor. The car is perfectly tuned and the engine can be tuned
to different dynamics with its onboard hand held computer. N02
bottles and associated plumbing was added to the engine. It is
functional, with a bottle mount behind the driver and a vapor
release valve mounted near the windshield, but was added for shock
value more than it was for racing really. BTW, The owner doesnt
race it. He has not been aggressive with the car either. Besides,
there is less than 300 miles on the motor ! The car features many
other nifty mechanical goodies. To name a few is the 400 Turbo
Transmission (Big bearing), 10 inch Streetfighter torque converter.
a Gear Vendor overdrive, a Ford 9 inch 4 link rear end (33 currie
spline axle) with 355 gears and huge tires allowing it to cruise at
75mph at only 2000 rpm. Also worth mentioning is its big aluminum
radiator with 2 electric fans, custom made headers, Borla mufflers,
dual remote-mounted oil filters, dual remote-mounted transmission
filters, serpentine belts and Gates heatshrink hose fasteners (no
clamps). Steering the rocketship is helped by a Dutchman front end
with manual rack and pinion. Stopping the beast is accomplished by
Four wheel power disc brakes with a frame mounted booster (not
visible from engine bay). Brakes feature 6 piston Wilwood calipers
with drilled rotors on front and 4 piston Wilwood calipers with
drilled rotors at rear. A line locker brake has been added but
never used. When you open the solenoid controlled door you first
notice the Billet door hinges, two tone door panels and billett
handles. The custom Interior looks a day old and was done by
professional Mike Ray in Cayucos, CA in 2015 and features a well
insulated cabin with comfy short back bucket seats, a custom center
console with drink holders, custom floor coverings front and rear,
a shaved and smoothed painted dash, a full custom roll cage painted
same as exterior, an upper rocker switch panel, a rosewood and
aluminum tilt wheel, Sport Comp Tachometer, white face Autometer
gauges, Electric windows, and even an operating clock in dash! The
interior says "you're comfortable and don't worry... I can get you
to work on time" . Although the door handles have been shaved with
hidden a solenoid button and a remote, there is also an under hood
emergency latch eliminating the need for battery power and open the
doors. Handy if your battery decides to lose a charge. This car has
dual Optima batteries mounted in
