1966 Dodge Coronet Deluxe two-door sedan, featuring a modern 5.7L
Hemi engine swap with an automatic transmission and overdrive added
in 2021. Despite its classic exterior with a weathered, patina
finish, this Dodge Coronet hides a powerful and modern drivetrain
that significantly upgrades its performance while maintaining a
classic look. The vehicle has been carefully updated with quality
suspension components from QA1, four-wheel disc brakes installed in
2023, and long tube headers with dual exhaust and electric cutouts
controllable by remote. Recently installed Cooper Cobra radial
tires. Recent upgrades such as a new brake booster, master
cylinder, power steering, aluminum radiator, and electric fan. On
the road, a responsive throttle, throaty exhaust note, and
comfortable handling despite a few vibrations. Speedo and odometer
are inop and heater has been bypassed. The interior retains much of
the original feel, including a blue cloth and vinyl bench seat,
column shifter, and intact seat belts, but also incorporates modern
conveniences such as a push-button start (under the left side
dash). A digital screen gives vital engine parameters.
